WE ARE MOVING TO AUSTIN! (You totally thought I was pregnant, didn’t you? Ha!)
Matt starts his new job next month so we are packing up shop and heading to the capital of Texas…likeeeee in two weeks. (!!!!!!!!!) While we have loved our time in Kentucky – it was certainly a nice country-mile-wide-break from compact DC city living – we are ready to head back to a place that has a bit more of what we love going on. Including but not limited to: sunshine, vegetarian breakfast tacos, live music, running trails AND cowboy boots. :)
We are headed there this weekend to snag an apartment (fingers and toes and legs and arms crossed) and I can’t wait to see what it’s like in person. Wait…did I mention neither one of us have ever been there before? GAHHHHHH(*&Y@en(*T^G#YBNnv9&Y(TGHF70y8u9h8Y#(RhO*RY*$>Kb5. Sums up my emotions right now.
More to come, but for now…I seriously need to start packing! #halppppppppp

Yeeeeeee Hawwwww Anne Marie!!! I can feel your excitement emanating through the pixels on the screen! I am thrilled for you two! Being a native Texan, I’ve spent some time there…not too much time, but enough to get a feel for the place. I can tell you, it is a lovely, hip, trendy and progressive city, although HOT! Did you know that Seattle is it’s sister city? And you’re right, the breakfast tacos at TacoDeli are the BEST! There was always a line… but it’s worth every second of the wait. Go to Chewy’s for TexMex… ohhhh, it’s good. Lots of Muuussssiccc! I think your gunna like it there! Hope your trip is productive!

Traci, your comment MADE my day! And it made me seriously hungry, as I cannot wait to check out TacoDeli and Chewy’s…I have a feeling I’m going to need to work out a bit harder down there as I’ll be eating everything! I didn’t know that Austin was Seattle’s sister city, but it makes sense as I feel like they are kind of the same city but just with different climates. :) My brother lives in Seattle and absolutely loves it, and every time I have gone to visit I’ve thought, ” why don’t I live here?!” So least Austin is “related” to it! Haha and if you ever go back to your Texas roots, you’ll know where to find me – we can go grab some serious vegetarian tacos and dance them off with all of the live music! Thank you again for all of your love and well wishes, it means so much!
