It has been a little crazy around here the past few weeks. With various trips, weddings, marathon runs, Etsy orders and oh yea, a complete government shutdown – we’ve been living in a bit of a whirlwind! Since I have yet to unpack from our last wedding in Richmond this past weekend, here are bits and pieces of our lives lately:
{Nothing like a surprise pumpkin donut from a co-worker on a Monday morning}
{Peak at my latest Etsy order. Unfortunately, it might be my last as Paper-Source is rumored to have slashed lower case cardboard letters from its stock. I’ll either close shop…or start a paper mache factory in our living room.}
{Our trip to Nashville last weekend for our dear friends’ wedding was kicked off with one of my favorite combinations: beer and mason jars.}
{“I was made to walk in these boots.” (Might have been the beer in mason jars talking, but COME ON. I might move to Nashville just for these babies!)}
{New married folks! Easily one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever been to.}
{And the ONLY wedding I’ve been to with sparklers and ACTUAL FIREWORKS. I may have jumped around like a five-year old I was so excited.}
{Power Hour with my power ladies. And the Capitol as my fascinator.}
{Pre-marathon marathon run around a post-shutdown DC. We may have run past a few “do not enter” signs. #catchusifyoucan}
{Barn sale at Chartruese & Co. in Frederick, MD. Didn’t buy anything (Matt held a tight grip on my wallet) but just walking through the various barns made my heart grow three sizes.}
{Celebrating my 26,2 miles with a special Pink Ribbon bagel – my absolute favorite – at Panera. Also celebrating my mother-in-law’s 16-year anniversary being cancer-free!}
{Picking the forbidden fruit. What, it was ripe!}
{welcoming our good friend Corri to the “Saratoga Wives Club”}
{Talk about a shotgun wedding! Oh my gosh, what a fun, memorable day}
{Nothing makes it official like a place card. And a super cute one, to boot}
{We were all going our separate ways but a few beers, two cancelled flights and a big carpool to DC later…Sunday Dinner will never be the same.}
